Who are these books for?
Yusuf’s adventures are for ages 8–12. Nora’s A Trip in Time series is for ages 12–15. Read the free chapters to judge the vocabulary and page design for your reader.
Where should we start?
Meet Yusuf and his father in An Adventure in Baghdad, then join the family on the road in An Adventure in the Desert and explore the city in An Adventure in Damascus. Damascus also welcomes readers starting here.
How do the editions differ?
Yusuf’s Reading and Illustrated Editions contain the same complete story, with different bindings and colour treatments. Nora has a portrait illustrated interior with facing-page panoramas; final print formats will be listed on its bookshop page.
Where can I order?
Ordering, delivery costs and returns will be handled by the separate shop when sales open.
Are the scenes historical?
The stories are set in the early Islamic world, beginning in Baghdad in 795 CE. Yusuf and his adventures are fictional, and the illustrated settings are imaginative reconstructions.
